SMPS TRANSFORMER

The purpose of a switch mode transformer, which is additionally referred to as a switch mode power supply transformer or SMPS transformer, is to increase or decrease voltage or current as well as to provide isolation between the input and output sides of a switch mode power supply. An SMPS converts voltage and current as it distributes power from a DC or AC source to DC loads, similar to other suppliers.

APPLICATIONS:

  • Appliances -Servers, Computers, Security systems, Mobile and power stations

  • Automobiles- Used in vehicles for charging batteries, Railway system

  • Industrial - For power in factories and industries

SENSING TRANSFORMERS

Current sense Transformers are used to find and measure current. They transform high voltages or currents to significantly lower values of current or voltages. Switch-mode transformers for power conversion applications and precision-measurement transformers for instrumentation applications are the two main categories of products. For power conversion applications, current sense transformers are used to measure trends, peaks, and average values rather than absolute values

APPLICATIONS:

  • Energy Meters

  • Electronic Circuit Breaker

  • Current Sensors

CURRENT TRANSFORMERS

A device called a current transformer is used to convert current from a greater value to a proportionate current to a lower value. Because it converts high voltage current into low voltage current, the ammeter can securely track how much current is flowing via transmission lines. When the current to be measured is too great for the meter or instrument coil to be manufactured with sufficient current carrying capacity, the current transformer is utilised with the AC instrument, meters, or control apparatus.

APPLICATIONS:

  • Commercial avionics as well as avionics parts

  • Aerospace assistance

  • Standard aerospace products

  • Systems that are mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical.

COMMON MODE CHOKES AND INDUCTORS

A common mode choke is an electrical filter that blocks high frequency noise common to two or more data or power lines while allowing the desired DC or low-frequency signal to pass. Common mode (CM) noise current is typically radiated from sources such as unwanted radio signals, unshielded electronics, inverters and motors.

APPLICATIONS:

  • Switch mode power supplies

  • AC/DC rectifiers

  • Power inverters

  • Variable frequency drives
